Disco

Recorded on 6/2/11 in just a few hours.

It was one of those days of a mass rush of inspiration. The kind that comes with a migraine.

I recorded 18 tracks for this demo. Since I was having a mass rush of creativity, I was kinda rushing to get it all out in time, so these are all are 1^st takes. Anything that was multi-tracked was done immediately after the previous track. No there are not 18 tracks on this CD, some of them just plain sucked recording quality wise. 2,8 & 42 are variations on the same riff and will be a full song at some point. Track 15 is an actual disco tune from the 70's that I can't identify.(if you know what it is, please tell me) I've been more into using heavy efx on my clean sound, and will probably be a part of my regular tone in future recordings and live sound. The track number corresponds to the order in which it was recorded. Zero was a few hours later and 42 was tracked the following day.

Here is a sneak peek at something I am working on. A "My Bleeding Heart" Hello Vampire Kitty.

As I have been busy being inside, and not out being the socialite everyone wishes i was being, I have actually been exercising my various artistic muscles. I've recorded quite allot of music recently. Working on a version of Lady Gaga's Judas in Drop "C" Tuning. Did several pieces of Silk/Metal floral hair clips. (only a few of them remain). A dozen or so Paintings of various abstract styles. Will be framing some drawings soon too. Oh, and I have started painting on glass bottles. I have a set of 5 gallon, dark green jugs that I'll be starting this week.

Taking a weeks vacation to get caught up on life, and re-launch my Ebay and Etsy pages. For those who don't know, I've taken up painting, (sure I'll come paint your house for the right price), but I'm talking about Art. Mostly canvas type paintings. I've even sold a few already to some locals. I will be approaching some local galleries to see about selling them there as well. As I still don't have an official band yet to speak of, and still recording new music on a weekly basis, I have decided to put some tracks up on YouTube. I will post a link as soon as I have something for ya'll to listen to. I will be releasing a few CD's of music shortly as soon as I decide on artwork for said releases. First will be titled "Blue", comprised of bluesy material. 2nd will be a CD of 6 Acoustic tracks that I recorded on a lazy afternoon. I will post one track from each CD as a You Tube video as a trailer for each release. Cd's will be available on my Ebay Store.
